Catagorizing Hubs (Part One)

When I signed up with Hubpages I was unsure of where to begin. I have so many interests and areas of experience. Should I choose my lifelong quest and research in the areas of nutrition and holistic health? Christianity has been the single most important THEME of my life. Before knowing Christ I was merely existing and not liking it all that well.

As you will read below, my writing has led me to many different places on a variety of topics. I have ALPHABETIZED and LINKED each HUB title to make the articles easier to find. I am hoping that his HUB will function as an easy-to-use Landing Page. This is Part One.

It is my goal to incorporate character qualities into this series while I uncover the thoughts, feelings and inner workings of living life in Emily's Little World.

A Short Sermon - Chapter 2 by Mekenzie. A great scandal occurred right in the sanctity of the Church. Though Jennifer felt she had been violated, John’s (the Viet Nam Vet's) actions had created a sense of vindication and peace.

The Haunted Past - Chapter 3 by Unchained Grace. This chapter is brutally honest. Written through the eyes of a soldier. Another soldier will 'get it' immediately; it may take a few reads for the rest of us. Don't get bogged down here, continue with the story as many amazing miracles and truths are still to be revealed

John's Encounter With God - Chapter 4 by Mekenzie. Pastor asks Jill to give him a brief history on her husband John. Jill is a bit afraid to speak for John but then gives a brief version including how God revealed Himself to John.

Return to Bum Park - Chapter 5 by Unchained Grace. John left the room as Pastor talked with his wife and Jennifer; he had to think. Would he and his wife be told to leave the church after what he'd done to Tom? Why God would have him right there as Tom assaulted that poor girl. He didn't know why .. he needed to take a walk and that is how he ended up back in Bum Park.

The Confrontation - Chapter 6 by Mekenzie. Tom felt like a caged animal as he screamed, "I am a Christian! ... you've seen all the things I've done around here. I give my money to help support the Church and you too Pastor. Why are you questioning me about my Faith?"

Tom Escapes To Bum Park - Chapter 7 by Unchained Grace. Tom has to get away from all of the finger pointing. He is angry at how the deacon's and Pastor are judging him! Without thinking he heads into gang territory and meets up with a most unlikely servant of the Living God.

Storming The Gates Of Heaven - Chapter 8 by Mekenzie. Please join with me as we go back to the meeting room Tom has left. Pastor Watermelon and the Deacon board are at their wits end. Look in as they storm Heaven's Gates for answers.

The Cut, the Showboat and the Bum - Chapter 9 by Unchained Grace. Robby "The Cut" Marshall looked straight at Tom sitting next to Donny. He wasn't entirely sure this guy would roll too easy. The Bible in Tom's hand told him he might be a preacher or something. What of the old man drinking the coffee?

Amazing Grace - Chapter 10 by Mekenzie. With a crowd gatherin' the hand of God reached down to His creation. As Tom was bein’ prayed over he heard the Holy Spirit whisper, “Aint none too good, too poor, too bad for God to reach or ta forgive … Don’t ever forget it boy!” Tom knew, just as surely and as firmly as he knew his own name that he would NEVER forget it.

The Bus Stop - Chapter 11 by Unchained Grace. Pastor Watermelon reflects on his childhood. The question is posed: What possible conclusion should there be in store for Shakira, Tom, Robby, Myrtle and Donny.

Reconciliation and Transformation - Chapter 12 by Mekenzie The conclusion of the story of the Sinner and the Showboat. John marveled at all the miracles takin' place right in the middle of sin city. This was some day, thought John, a day when the devil showed up but God cleaned house.
