Looking At This World Through God's Eyes

As you look out into the eyes of people in this world what do you see? Do you see the people and the world as God see's it? What does He think as He watches your life day by day? Is He working in and through you? Do you bring Him Joy by using the gifts He has given you? Is He pleased with the ways that you interact with others?

God's perspective is what I long to have. I want to see people as He see's them. Not be consumed with selfish ambition or filled with worries.

As we grow in our Christian Faith there are many characteristics about our 'old selves' that will pass away. God will change us. He is the potter who works on the clay (His Children) to create a beautiful masterpiece fit for Heaven. He uses many different methods to chip away at arrogance, pride, selfishness, rude behavior and anything else in our lives that screams out ... ME FIRST!

There are many ways we can be distracted from our calling here on Earth. God tells us we are but Pilgrims here. Our time down here .. on this Earth Place .. is soooo temporary in comparison to eternity.  It is our preparation time .. a getting ready time, if you will! Getting ready to reach our Heavenly Abode.

There are so many distraction down here. So many things we can find to worry about in life, especially in these days. Do you have children? Have you noticed the decline in moral standards? Do you worry about your children growing up without the values and standards you grew up with? When I was a child I could go for a walk outside, at night, and no one would worry about me because I was safe! Today we can't even let a child walk alone in broad daylight. I mournfully wonder ... "What has become of our world?"

Living life with worry seems to be the norm for most people.  Seems our society is changing faster than the blink of an eye.  Just go to the forums on our beloved Hubpages site to witness the most blatant arrogance and disregard for individuality. The forums are NOT a safe place. You are not respected when you voice your own individual views and opinions on the forums .... no, not at all. You will be attacked quickly if you mention the name of God or Jesus. I will never understand what drives people to be so mean-spirited.

The economy is downright scary ... and to make it worse ... I live in MIchigan which is the State listed with the highest rate of unemployment .... I am, right now, being hit with these statistics in a very personal way!

I am tempted to worry or try to fix it all. But I have come to the place that I see it is WAY beyond my control. I know that and I also know that worry gets me nowhere but SICK both physically and emotionally.

God is the lover of my soul. Whatever is going on down here .. He has a place prepared for me. He also has left me His word to teach me how to live. Matthew 6:34 says "Take no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought for itself." God says I am not meant to worry about tomorrow ... only to live life one day at a time. I wasn't meant to carry pain. No, not at all .. it is too BIG for me. I have been doing that for too many years now and have just recently been exhorted by the Lord God to STOP IT! It is wrong for me to try to carry my own pain or to carry the pain of others' (I've been really good at that too) ... God says to all who will listen .... "Come unto me all you who are weak and heavy laden, and I (Jesus) will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

I would never have guessed that God would use Hubpages to capture my attention and help me see the world through His eyes. Have you noticed how many different kinds of gifted writers there are here on the hubs? God uses Hub Friends!

As I have spent time reading through many hubs I have observed various and different aspects of Jesus character coming through the writers words. God uses the hubs to show me who He is and How He works. He reaches out to me through many hubpages showing me people who are lovers of GOD and those who are warriors and unafraid to face the assaults of the enemy.

I would like to write about some of my favorite hubbers and share some of the ways they have touched my life and have lived Jesus before me. I have been blessed by so many of you and I am sure I will miss some. There are many new hubbers that I am just getting to know but feel the bud of friendship growing.

Gentle, merciful and kind Skye2day displays strength and courage with a HUGE love for the living God. This dear lady has sent chills of love sweeping through me right down to my toes.

Unchained Grace's gentle and strong voice has spoken into my life more than once .. look to God, ask and you will receive. His humor is endless and his wit is unstoppable .. he is intelligent and creative and a God-thinker for sure. He has given up his own personal agenda to serve the Living God and he is not sorry .. there is NO turning back for this man. HIS heart pounds with a passion to find housing and provisions for every living VET ... for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice ... their lives for our protections. Coffee Snob(honey I wish snob wasn't in your name ... you are SO not a snob) lol. Carol is an intellectual who has a tender heart of compassion. She, like Unchained Grace has also served her Country and encouraged many a soldier along the way. Her love pours out to anyone blessed to know her.

MickyDee is that guy on the go. He whizzes up to my hubs, drops a hilarious message and zooms on to the next hub. MickyDee is a kind soul whom I've come to respect. He is not caught up in this material world .. his head is geared toward justice and he'll go toe to toe with you if need be. He's a little rough around the edges .. he'll tell ya that himself .. sometimes his hubs are a little coarse for the lady in me .. but most times I am charmed, touched, or splitting with laughter by his colorful writing.

50Caliber... Talk about NOT being caught up with materialism - Caiber is the man! He lives in the wilderness .. he and his dogs play in the sandbox under a sycamore tree. They spend their days in a peaceful setting BUT his mind is keen and ready for action. He knows and loves God and His word and he's not afraid to say so.. He's blessed me helped my perspective more than a few times.

Urlikegrace is a lady if there ever was one. Though trouble has hit her hard .. she has allowed the refiners fire to purify her. Kindness exudes from her and she does not hold back her affection. I am taken by this lady and her wisdom and insight. She has recently influenced my perspective in some of my writings.

Revlady knows her God and comes along many hubbers cheering us along on our journey. She has so tenderly urged me forward to share what God has spoken. I know Revlady has a very busy life and ministry, yet she takes time to grace many of our pages with truth and love. Her sweet parting words are always "Forever His."

MFB III, who can grasp the true depth and beauty to be found in this man's artistry with words? The emotions he has stirred within me have run the gamet. His God given gift is unmistakable. His hubs are another place where my lady's heart sometimes fears to tread. He is graphic and real .. sometimes I must say politely, excuse me MFB, this ones not for me. :-) But most the times, his love draws me in as I sink into HIS heart which is full of mercy, compassion and BIG LOVE.

breakfastpop keeps me up on the latest news in the most entertaining way imaginable. She prepares the most luxurious breakfasts. Then she proceeds to announce the latest Pop-Awards ... it is not always settling to hear but hear we MUST. Afterwards she invites all to the bar for a drink and a conversation. I order a coke and breakfastpop always has it waiting for me.

I can always count on Quill to have a place at the fire for me. Peace reigns on Quill's Hubs. Once he has given a warm hug, and offered a plate full of cookies, he looks deeply into my heart and asks about my life ... After he has listened he proceeds to share the most heartwarming story's about my Father God. He is the type of man I wish my own father could have been to me. I love how he talks about his Mrs. Quill too ... they are the sweetest couple!

Faye is a strong lady who loves God and leaves footprints of encouragement all across the hubpages. She accepts people right where they are ... it's okay with her that a hubber isn't perfect or even close to it. All are welcomed to Faye's Hubs.

AnnAnnonymousis a sweetheart. She is wisdom, wit, encouragement with a BIG heart that reaches out from the screen. Ann told me about the perfect song for one of my hubs, The Beautiful Woman. It was like the icing on the cake ... thank you Ann ... your gift of this song is treasured.

All of these Hubbers have, in their individually unique way, contributed to my growth as a writer and as believer. Thank you my hubber friends!

Teach us to respect each other Lord. We are ALL at different places in our journey here on this earthplace. There are Hubbers who don't know you (I didn't know you at one time), some Hubbers do believe in you but are also angry at you, (I know you understand ... you can handle it ... and want them to Talk to you.)  There are new Christians .. may we come alongside them and cheer them on. We don't know what another Hubber has been through ... grant us patience and love when we don't understand them.

Let me see this world dear Lord, as though I were looking through your eyes. Keep me focused on you and help me to use my mouth to communicate truth sprinkled with tons of love.
