How-To Request
Today I received a request from a fellow hubber. It was a 'How-To Request." The request read: How did you get the Utube videos in your hub?
This is not the first time I have been asked this very same question. I figured it was time for me to take up the challenge and write a step-by-step approach to loading a Utube onto a hub.
I have written a three step proccess which I hope will give you clear instructions on loading a YouTube Video on your personal hubpage. Begin today to enjoy the opportunity of adding Illustrative and entertaining Youtubes to your very own hubs.
STEP ONE
Download a YouTube onto your Hubpage
IN EDIT MODE - OPEN A VIDEO CAPSULE
- While in the EDIT or design a NEW HUB mode, choose the capsule titled: Video (The capsules are found on the upper right hand side of the EDIT HUB PAGE screen - Titled: ADD MORE CAPSULES.)
- This New Capsule will appear underneath the other capsules already in place
- Click EDIT on the Video Capsule.
- You will see these words above a box: Video URL or Embed Code
- Leave this hubpage open while you open UTube Website on another page OR Save your Hubpage by clicking Done Editing
- Proceed to STEP TWO ... where you will go to the UTUBE website to choose your video.

STEP TWO
CHOOSE THE YOUTUBE YOU WANT TO DISPLAY
GET THE EMBED CODE
- Go to: http://www.youtube.com/
- At the top of the Youtube website is a Youtube Search Box. Type what you are searching for in the YouTube Search BOX.
- Once Title or Keyword is typed in, Click Search
- A whole page will come up with various YouTubes from your Title or Keyword Search
- Click on the Youtube you are searching for ... The Youtube will begin to play
- If you don't like the Youube .. View more Youtubes to the right .. Click and View until you find the BEST choice.
- Underneath the YouTube VIDEO that you choose, you will see the word: Embed
- Click on Embed
- Copy this Code to Place in the HUB Video Capsule (right click on the code and choose copy)
STEP THREE
BACK TO YOUR HUBPAGE
PLACE EMBED CODE INTO VIDEO CAPSULE
- Click on the BOX inside the Video Capsule ... Right click and choose Copy
- Click on Preview Video
- Write a Title if you Want One
- Click Save
- Enjoy .. YOU DID IT!

YouTube is a great resource tool for your writing on HubPages. YouTube helps to illustrate, broaden or support your Hub message. Do some searching when you get to the YouTube Website. As you go to YouTube you will open up a world of entertainment, education, proof, documentation, great fun and more.
I use YouTube to share some of my favorite music genre's. I use YouTube to support an argument or to share an expert's opinion regarding a topic. I use YouTube to add a 'moment' not soon to be forgotten. I LOVE You Tube!

fetty, welcome and I am SO glad this hub will be helpful to you. Isn't that Mouse Trap Video a RIOT! I was horrified when my children first showed it to me .. SHOCKED actually .. They begged me to hang on and watch the whole thing. What a twist .. Hilarious little Mouse.

Hi my Michigander friend, I grew up on the East Side, I am now on the Westside and I LOVE the big lake, the scenery and the friendliness of people here.
It took me longer than usual .. I had 4 grandkids surrounding me as I polished it off. :0)
I should have waited to publish .. I'll go back through it when my babies go home to make sure it's as clear as I can make it.
